Where's Me Culture? is a loose grouping of Cork citizens who wish to realise the potential presented by Cork being European Capital of Culture in 2005. We wish to participate in the activities of the year ahead. We are excited by the ideas put forward by those who attended the inaugural meeting and those who have been in contact since. We believe that responsibility for celebrating Cork as a cultural city is neither the sole preserve nor the sole responsibility of the Cork 2005 office. Cultural expression is the responsibility of all. We believe that imagination and energy and a willingness to help each other is more important than a large budget. monochrom is an art-technology-philosophy group having its seat in Vienna and Zeta Draconis. monochrom is an unpeculiar mixture of proto-aesthetic fringe work, pop attitude, subcultural science, context hacking and political activism. Our mission is conducted everywhere, but first and foremost in culture-archeological digs into the seats (and pockets) of ideology and entertainment. monochrom has existed in this (and almost every other) form since 1993.
