By engaging with the<br \/>\n\thegemony-challenging ideology of hacking, participants will seek to<br \/>\n\tinterrogate and expose the mutually constructive bonds of food and tech,<br \/>\n\twhile proposing alternative, playful, and stimulating reconfigurations.<br \/>\n\tThe event proposes a hack: a hybrid of bricolage, play, criticality,<br \/>\n\tand cross-disciplinary collaboration. The goal is to reflect and perhaps<br \/>\n\tundo the assumptions and habits that frame our everyday interactions<br \/>\n\twith both food and technology, while making evident their<br \/>\n\toften-neglected entanglements. Hedonistika will be a one-\u00adweek festival<br \/>\n\tthat will begin with a 3 day symposium comprised of workshops, a panel<br \/>\n\tdiscussion, and three session of invited and registered speakers. The<br \/>\n\tgoal is to merge research-creation with critical analysis, and community<br \/>\n\tengagement with celebration. (Plus, it will taste and look really<br \/>\n\tcool.)<\/p>\n<p>\tHedonistika is looking for robotic projects and<br \/>\n\tperformative works that explore the critical issues within these realms.<br \/>\n\tThe curators are accepting proposals for complete works (and works<br \/>\n\talmost complete) for the exhibition in the festival portion of the<br \/>\n\tevent. Proposed projects should have a technological component.
