From<br \/>\n\tthis admixture, we have the foundations of an urbanism made by and for<br \/>\n\t&#8220;the people&#8221; which, at the same time as interrogating the fabric of<br \/>\n\tspaces overtaken, outsourced, managed and mined, hales radical, digital<br \/>\n\tcultures, and opens surfaces for dialogue with urban environments from<br \/>\n\twithin a post-colonial critique. The book is an attempt, I would argue,<br \/>\n\tto identify strategies for the problem spaces which might be creatively<br \/>\n\tdetourned, delimited, or re-designed. It articulates the problem of<br \/>\n\tpoliticized urban art as requiring a much-needed re-invention of itself,<br \/>\n\ton toothier terms.\n<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<blockquote><p>\n\tBut, the book is, also, self-consciously, historical.
