Oh my! What an honor!<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\n\tTheir choice of blurring languages, occupations, and post-apoc mythos<br \/>\n\thas created a strange cross between L. Frank Baum\u2019s underappreciated <em>Oz<\/em> series <em>(\u201cUnderappreciated??<br \/>\n\tBut everybody saw the Wizard of Oz, right?\u201d Yeah, but how many people<br \/>\n\tare aware that there are 44 books in the OZ series, with 14 penned by<br \/>\n\tBaum himself???),<\/em> Lewis Carroll\u2019s <em>Through the Looking Glass<\/em>, and Samuel Beckett plays like <em>Endgame<\/em>. As I said before, improbably, this actually works out.<br \/>\n\t[&#8230;]<br \/>\n\t<em>Die Gstettensaga: The Rise of Echsenfriedl is as avant-garde as you<br \/>\n\tcan possibly get, with commentaries on everything from technology, nerd<br \/>\n\tculture, totalitarianism, and religion, and featuring homages to<br \/>\n\teverything from Fritz Lang\u2019s Metropolis to The Blair Witch Project to<br \/>\n\tYlvis\u2019 \u201cThe Fox (What Does The Fox Say).\u201d And somehow it all works<br \/>\n\tsurprisingly well together.<\/em>\n<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><center><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.monochrom.at\/gstettensaga\/MFM_Award_Superiority_HR.png\" \/><\/center><br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.microfilmmaker.com\/2014\/08\/die-gstettensaga-review\/\">Link<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Microfilmmaker Magazine awards &#8220;Gstettensaga&#8221; their &#8220;Award of Superiority&#8221; (with a rating of 9.5\/10).
