As we grow, as we mature? And what<br \/>\n\tabout old age? Sex in nursing homes? Sex when people have lost much of<br \/>\n\ttheir sense of identity with Alzheimer’s Disease and the like, but are<br \/>\n\tstill horny, still sexual entities? How do pharma and biotech<br \/>\n\thelp\/monetize this situation?<br \/>\n\t– Sex under drugs, sex under other altered states? Is Viagra a drug? So if its true that technology<br \/>\n\titself doesnt matter, but the social or economic system in which it is<br \/>\n\tembedded (Langdon Winner), then what does that tell us about the<br \/>\n\ttransition from sex tech into the cultural mainstream?<br \/>\n\t– Is human sexual behavior transforming our planet? Focusing on the<br \/>\n\ttranscendental moves our attention away from the day-to-day struggles<br \/>\n\tinvolving the material and instead replaces it with transcendent ideas<br \/>\n\tand ideals. How is this manifested through issues of sexuality and<br \/>\n\ttechnology? What can we do about it? What are the power struggles<br \/>\n\tinvolved, positionalities afforded and relationships to, that<br \/>\n\ttranscendental modes of thought afford for socio-economically<br \/>\n\tmarginalized populations? Can we compare and contrast notions of<br \/>\n\ttranscendence alongside notions of immanence? What is the role of the<br \/>\n\tbody and embodiment with respect to transcendentalism?
