What is it?

As usual, monocon is an unconference. Who ever shows up will be part of the lectures, because everyone has something interesting to present! Given the list of people attending we expect high-level talks and discussions!

How to get to monocon?

Volkshochschule Wien-Rudolfsheim is located at outer Mariahilfer Straße, near Schwendermarkt.

By plane

Via Vienna International Airport (VIE), use public transport from there: Vienna Airport Lines VAL 1 to Wien Westbahnhof, take trams 52 or 60 to stop Anschützgasse from there.

In case you want to arrive with your own Cessna and prefer a smaller airport: Bad Vöslau Airport East (QEW/LOAV) is just 20 miles south.

Via public transport

Use the excellent public transport system of Vienna. Nearest stop is Rudolfsheim, Anschützgasse, operated by tram lines 52 and 60 plus bus line 57A.

By car

Try to avoid it. Parking in vienna needs much local experience.

As getting around is pretty easy in Vienna you can expect every hotel of preference being perfect for your stay.
If you really want to get a recommendation: did you ever sleep at an IKEA? Well, you get your chance. The hotel Jo&Joe is located at the rooftop of City IKEA Vienna. You can find it at Mariahilferstraße, right next to Westbahnhof. You can walk to the venue from there or take trams 52 and 60.
