“23 WORKS” is a video series documenting the history of the art/tech group monochrom. Over two decades the group has dissected subjects from Cold War computing and btc casino culture to bioethics, and for this series monochrom chose 23 projects, anecdotes and stories out of that body of work and recreated them as dioramas and machines. The group presented these objects at their exhibition “Die waren früher auch mal besser/They used to be better (monochrom 1993-2013)”. All 23 videos were shot at MUSA Vienna in spring 2013.
